The New School Psychology Bulletin (NSPB) is an Open Access, peer-reviewed research journal created and operated by graduate students at The New School for Social Research in New York City. Founded in 2003, the NSPB has become an important and valid alternative to established academic journals for all aspiring authors in the field of psychology.
Mission Statement
The NSPB aims to cultivate a scientist-practitioner model within university psychology departments and offer experiential education in areas perceived as “gaps in training” in academia. To this effect, we aim to:
1) Publish high-quality graduate student scholarly work
2) Serve as a training model for our staff, Editorial Board members, and authors
3) Provide an open window into the peer-review and publication process while committing to a supportive and constructive learning environment.
