Author Guidelines
For more information on what types of work are acceptable for submission, please read our section policies.
Articles must adhere to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition, 2009. Charts, graphs, or other image files associated with manuscripts should be uploaded separately as a Supplementary File during the submission process, and should not be embedded within the manuscript file.
Commentaries and Letters to the Editor are not required to follow APA formatting standards and may be submitted "as is."
All accepted manuscripts are subject to editing. The author will receive an edited copy for review before publishing.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
- Text is 12-point type, single-column and double-spaced.
- Instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
